Veteran Industry Professional Richard F. Fehn Joins Magjak Team
WESTCHESTER, January 2008 – Richard Fehn, a veteran of over 20 years in graphic communications and business services, has joined Magjak as General Manager. In his new position he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.
Prior to joining Magjak, Richard managed one of the most successful business services operation with Grubb & Ellis, handling the Tri-State and Washington Metro markets, and was responsible for strategy, pricing, client relations, and overall quality of service. His responsibilities included servicing their largest client, IBM, throughout the Northeast Region. Richard’s organization received a 100% client satisfaction rating in the tri-state region.

Richard has over 20 years of experience in the graphic communications/business services industries servicing Fortune rated corporations. His experience includes contract development, fair-value assessments, customer assurance and relations, operational management, financial management and disaster recovery planning. He is a member of the original team that developed and implemented “fee-based services” which later became known as GEMS Business Services for Grubb and Ellis, which he joined in 1992. Prior to his position there, he was responsible for a $20 million support services budget for IBM Tri-State locations, including World and U.S. Headquarters. He established one of the first pre-internet wired “in-plant” printing operations utilizing IBM’s Professional Office Systems (PROFS) for electronic job submission. This operation was regarded as the company’s best practices model. Achievements included the highest rating in customer satisfaction, business controls, quality and cost reductions.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mercy College, attended IBM Management Development School, and is a Certified Financial Management Executive. He has also received his Site Manager’s Certificate for Art & Science of Mail Communications.
